News from The Vice Commodore
I’d like to begin by expressing my heartfelt thanks to all the members who have generously dedicated their time to volunteering at the club
Volunteers are the backbone of Highcliffe Sailing Club, and their dedication is key to our success. From running bar nights to organising social events and ensuring a comprehensive club racing calendar, the efforts of our volunteering teams make everything possible. Without their hard work, we wouldn’t have the thriving, dynamic club that we all enjoy today.
We kindly remind all members that contributing your time and skills, no matter how big or small, truly adds to the success of the club. Not only does “doing your bit” add value to the club, but it also allows you to get the most out of your membership. Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet other members, learn new skills, and feel even more connected to our wonderful community.
This year, we held successful volunteer awareness events, which helped us recruit new members into various roles across the club. It was inspiring to see so many people step forward, and we’re grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment shown. We look forward to running this event again next year to build on its success.
If you’d like more information on how you can get involved and contribute to the continued success of Highcliffe Sailing Club, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at manager@highcliffesailing.co.uk.
Thank you to all our volunteers for your incredible support—you are what makes this club truly special!
