What a year for us on the water! More members, more paddle events and huge increase in numbers joining us .
Thank you everyone who has helped run the paddles, and special thanks to all members who have joined us on the water, with over 25 members on each the growth is quite extraordinary, and the feedback has always been very positive. Thank you!

Here is a summary of some of the highlights of 2024 , and what to look forward to in 2025

A surge of new members with interest in paddling has been really encouraging and has led us to invest in more kayak storage spaces. Paddlers now represent a significant number of the club membership

We had up to 48 paddlers on a single outing last year – very impressive!

Our hugely successful ‘Away day’ to Old Harry Rocks Paddle provided perfect conditions with over 40 members enjoying, many for the first time, some of our amazing coastline outside the harbour. We intend to hold more away days in 2025.

Training sessions were held in 2024, focusing on safety, rescue and recovery - we are planning more for Summer 2025

2 moonlight paddles were held – if you didn’t join in this year, don’t miss next. It’s an amazing experience

We increased the number of volunteers helping organise the paddles which is very welcome help. Thank you everyone involved. If anyone else would like to be more involved, please speak to Dennis or Mark
The calendar for 2025 paddles is already live, please check the club website and we will add more ad hoc ones throughout the year.
